Have you ever experienced the feeling where you did everything “the right way” yet you feel unfulfilled? That feeling of “going through the motions” yet yearning for something more? Have you ever felt disconnected from YOU.. your core values, your sense of purpose, your passion, your drive, the essence that is YOU?
This was me. Inspired from the Covid-19 pandemic (what I jokingly refer to as “being grounded by the government”… LOL!), I found myself stuck/unfulfilled in many aspects of my life. Bluntly put – I was burnt out from an 18 ½ year career in healthcare (Psychiatry specifically) in a toxic working environment, yet conflicted as I realized I created a life where I felt there were no other options yet to remain stuck in an environment where I was not valued, under appreciated, ridiculed for baseless infractions yet expected to still show up and “perform”.
It was during this time where I hired a life coach (Hi Ed!!) as I realized “the therapist needs helps”. My experience working with a life coach allowed me the space to explore and identify my own limiting beliefs and internal messages which contributed to me feeling stagnant, creating my own fears to “face my $#!+” to move forward.
My experience made me realize there are many people who have/are going through the same thing and I’m here to help them.
